Hack & Train Cyber-AI Standout

Story

Hack & Train was a high-pressure hybrid competition combining cybersecurity (CTF) and applied AI using real datasets provided by the Algerian Space Agency (ASAL). The event was hosted at ENSIA and gathered some of the strongest technical profiles in the country. The format forced rapid iteration: solve security challenges while also building AI-driven solutions on top of real-world data. This required switching contexts constantly between offensive security thinking and structured ML workflows. We deliberately focused on delivering working systems instead of over-polished presentations. That meant prioritizing execution, clarity of scope, and demo reliability. This approach paid off — our solution stood out for being functional, well-scoped, and clearly communicated, securing 2nd place overall.
